Terms of payment
Payment by client of purchases shall take place as follows:
- Either by bank card: cards accepted are cards of CB network, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express or Diners issued on bank accounts domiciled in Metropolitan France (including Corsica), or by way of exception by bank wire transfer at the request of GENETE. Client’s bank card shall be debited at the time the order is prepared. For this purpose, client warrants to GENETE via Internet that he or she is the owner of the bank card and that the name shown on the bank card to be debited is the client’s name, and shall then either by telephone or by means of a secure internet environment, make known to GENETE the sixteen digit number and date of expiry shown on the top side of the bank card and, as the case may be, the numbers on the visual cryptogram on the reverse side of the bank card. Failure to communicate such data along with the order prevents the completion and the analysis of the corresponding transaction. Payments may alternatively be made by cheque, the cheque being cashed on receipt. Cheques shall be sent to GENETE, 1, rue de Bourgogne - 89000 AUXERRE, France.
In the event that for whatsoever reason (stop on payment, payment rejection by issuing organisation) the debiting to Client of the amounts payable by Client is not possible, the sale made by telephone shall be immediately cancelled and the Internet purchase process aborted.
